 XI. ANSWER KEYS

1.      Listening Exercise
The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing
A wolf found (1) great difficulty in getting at the sheep owing to (2) the vigilance of the shepherd and (3) his dogs. But one day it found (4) the skin of a sheep that had been flayed and thrown aside, so it put it on over its pelt and strolled down among the sheep. The lamb that belonged to the sheep, whose skin the wolf was wearing, began to follow the wolf in (5) the sheep’s clothing; so leading the lamb a little apart, he soon made (6) a meal of her, and for some time he succeeded in deceiving the sheep and enjoying (7) hearty meals.

2.      Exercise 2
The Man and the Serpent
A Countryman’s son by accident trod upon a Serpent’s tail, which turned and bit him so that he died. The father in a rage got his axe, and pursuing the Serpent, cut off part of its tail. So the Serpent in revenge began stinging several of the Farmer’s cattle and caused him severe losses. Well, the Farmer thought it best to make up with the Serpent, and brought food and honey to the mouth of its lair, and said to it: “Let’s forget and forgive; perhaps you were right to punish my son, and take vengeance on my cattle, but surely I was right in trying to avenge him; now that we are both satisfied why should not we be friends again?”
“No, no,” said the Serpent; “take away your gifts; you can never forget the death of your son, nor I forget the loss of my tail.”

3.      Exercise – Gap Filling
Please All and You Will Please None

A Man and his son were once going with their Donkey to market. As they were walking along, a countryman passed them and said: "You fools, what is a Donkey for but to ride upon?"

So the Man put the Boy on the Donkey and they went on theirway.  But soon they passed a group of men, one of whom said: "See that lazy youngster, he lets his father walk while he rides."

So the Man had his Boy get off, and got on himself. But they hadn't gone far when they passed two women, one of whom said to the other: "Shame on that lazy lout to let his poor little son trudge along."

The Man didn't know what to do, but at last he took hisBoy up before him on the Donkey.  By this time they had come to the town, and the passers-by began to jeer and point at them. The Man stopped and asked what they were scoffing at.  The men said: "Aren't you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor donkey with you and your hulking son?"
The Man and Boy got off and tried to think what to do.  They thought and they thought, till at last they cut down a pole, tied the donkey's feet to it, and raised the pole and the donkey to their shoulders.  They went along amid the laughter of all who met them till they came to Market Bridge, when the Donkey, getting one of his feet loose, kicked out and caused the Boy to drop his end of the pole.  In the struggle the Donkey fell over the bridge, and so did The Man and The Boy.
Finally an old man who had followed them said, "That will teach you: Please all, and you will please none.”

What Would Jesus Do

Do not worry to much.. 1 Korintus 10: 13

God bless you..

Don't give up so easily! You still have your own knees to pray!

Pi-eS #Bulan Pertama

Pi-eS

Edisi: Bulan Pertama+

:p Aku si seneng-seneng aja, berasa like a Princess.. Hihihi.. (Peace pak! :D)Karena aku mikirnya cuma bercandaan, aku ga yang terlalu mikirin.. eee ternyata beneran dikenalin.. :o

Perkenalan Sederhana

Perkenalan sederhana dimulai dengan berderingnya handphone ku bulan Oktober lalu... Ya mungkin bekisar di minggu pertama.. Awalnya si males kenalan sama ni cowo.. Kenapa? Kar'na maen telpon2 aja.. Dari mana coba aku mau angkat telponnya kalo ga tau dia ini adek nya pak Guru.. (Heran juga napa ga SMS dulu to tell who he is) Keesokan paginya, pak Guru datang dan bertanya kenapa telpon dari adeknya ga diangkat...

SMSan deh kami berdua, tapi Ga-Je, alias Ga Jelas.. Tiba-tiba dia ga bales SMS ku, aneh bin ajaib, mau kenalan tapi SMSnya ga dibales.. Karna ga ambil pusing, ya terserahlah ya dia mau bales ato ga.. Yang penting aku udah baik mau SMS.. :D

Perjumpaan Simpel

Besok2nya itu SMS lagi dia.. Singkat cerita si dia minta pin BBM n ngajak ketemuan.. Bener males dah ketemu ma cowo, sendirian pula.. Mana ngajak ketemunya di Lumintang, sekalian jogging.. Ya ampun.. *trauma pingsan abis jogging* Nolak.. Nolak.. Nolak.. Ternyata aku salah besar.. Dia malah suka banget ke toko buku! Terpojoklah dan mau ga mau ketemu sama dia.. Hari itu hari Kamis, tapi lupa tanggal berapa.. :D

Because I feel so comfortable and safe (I don't know why)..jadi ya OK saja buat pergi dinner berdua.. Banyak ide buat diperbincangkan.. Suka maem tempe n sambel.. Makan yang 'nyengke' without malu-malu.. *don't know* Setelah selesai makan, pulanglah kami..

Menyenangkan.. (jujur)

Perjalanan Singkat

Di depan Hard Rock Cafe
Lalu, pada tanggal 25 Oktober 2014 kami janjian to have saturday night together..

Bener-bener yang enjoy, full of joy, full of happiness, secure, and comfort  saat jalan sama dia..

Sebutan "sayang", "honey", "I love you", dan yang paling penting "God bless you" mulai menghiasi hari-hari kami.. :)

Paket Special

First cooking gift from him <3
Dia janji mau dateng nganter makanan.. Dan dia memasakkan sesuatu untuk ku.. Believe me! Enak banget! TOP BGT.. I know he wants to show how much he loves me..

Dia yang bisa multi function; as brother, as best friend, and of course as my man.. :) Although I still don't know our future, the thing is I'm very grateful to have you.. Thank you for loving me just the way I am.. God bless you, my man.. :)
